Napoli round out Forbes top 20 most valuable football clubs list

Napoli come in 20th place on Forbes top 20 most valuable football club list. They are behind Italian clubs Juventus, Milan, Roma, and Inter; again putting in perspective how impressive Napoli’s performance in the past few years has been. The list also highlights the growing gap between Europe’s very elite (top 3 all valued over 3 billion dollars) and the rest of the pack. Check out the methodology used and full list below:

Methodology: Forbes’ team values are enterprise values (equity plus net debt) based on April 24, 2017 exchange rates. Revenues and operating income (earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortization, player trading and disposal of player registrations) figures are for the 2015-16 season, converted into U.S. dollars based on the average exchange rate for that period. Operating income is earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortization, player trading and disposal of player registrations. Debt includes stadium debt applicable to the team or team owner.
